Selected Build-To-Suit Projects

 

TOYOTA MATERIAL HANDLING  occupied their new 43,983 square foot Hayward regional headquarters/distribution facility in March 2000.  This facility featured 22’ clear height and an office area of approximately 10,000 square feet on two floors.

 

FEDERAL EXPRESS  occupied their new 106,722 square foot San Jose distribution facility in June 1997.  This state-of-the-art package distribution facility was designed with 18’ clear height and land for additional expansion.  10,000 square feet of customer service and administrative office were included in the new building.  At the time, this facility was Federal Express’ largest package distribution center in the Bay Area.

 

CREATIVE LABS  occupied their new 177,005 square foot Fremont distribution facility in September 1996.  This facility features 30’ clear height, 20 dock doors and a parking ration of approximately 5 cars/1000 sq. ft.  14,000 square feet of two-story administrative office was constructed in the building.  This facility was the national distribution center for Creative’s line of Soundblaster and other well-known PC products.

PUBLISHERS GROUP WEST  occupied their new 211,000 square foot Hayward distribution facility in January 1993.  The building has 24’ minimum clear height with a sprinkler rating of .45 GPM/3,000 sq. ft.  There are 40 dock high doors and 6 grade level doors.  An office area of approximately 4,600 square feet was also constructed.  Publishers Group West utilizes this facility for storage and distribution of books and publications, along with administrative offices.

 

MARKO FOAM PRODUCTS, INC.  moved into 72,900 square feet of a new 98,965 square foot building in Hayward in September 1994.  This building provides 22’ minimum clear height, a sprinkler rating of .45/GPM/3,000 sq. ft., 18 dock high doors and 10 grade level doors.  Marko operates a state-of-the-art polystyrene molding facility at this location.
